Queen St. & Peter St. - Flip-Flops ~ Sharon Dawn Collection

Prepare for an adventurous and carefree summer with a pair of colorful flip-flops! The rubber sole is lined with a soft fabric to make sure you feel comfortable wherever your day takes you.

This design is based on my painting entitled Queen Street & Peter Street. I lived above a cool restaurant, had really beautiful hardwood floors, incredibly high ceilings, glorious stain glass windows, a view of a pub with the constant rumbling of motorcycles and a postage stamp sized kitchen. Loved that place as I was in the heart of an area where I did everything. It was where I worked, shopped, went to galleries & played. A village in the middle of a metropolis.

With all of the room in my loft apartment, inspiration led me to paint this in my tiny kitchen in the night owl hours. This painting was very cathartic for me. Using colours quickly and not premeditating but just putting the paint down. With these flip flops, you can now walk on my painting.
