When I was a child I loved this minty blue typewriter. It has been in my family for years.
Several years back my mother asked me if I wanted anything from the house as she was wanting to declutter. I requested a vintage 50's chromed table with chairs and this lovely typewriter. Both hold a lot of sentimental value to me. The table was a place of great meals, board games and watching my mother cut fabric for her sewing projects.
The typewriter brings back memories of writing my poetry with this vintage typewriter. The unforgettable ding of the bell at the end of the page and the frequently tangled ribbon.
At the events I attend people really appreciate this photo. I reminds them of the past, intrigues them to want to know more about it and many parents ask their children if they know what it is. This photo is a real conversation piece.
